The Organza gives woman
a beautiful look. This amazing salwar suits are well known for its durability
and resistance to dust particles.
Organza is a thin,
plain weave, sheer fabric traditionally made from silk. Many modern organzas
are woven with synthetic filament fibers such as polyester or nylon. Silk
organza is woven by a number of mills along the Yangtze River and in the
province of Zhejiang in China. A coarser silk organza is woven in the Bangalore
area of India. Deluxe silk organzas are woven in France andtaly.
Organzas is used for
bridalwear and evening wear. In the interiors make it used for effects in
bedrooms and between rooms. Double-width organzas in viscose and acetate are
used as sheer curtains. They are woven from thin continuous filaments of
silkworms. Organza can be run through a computer so this thin sheer fabric can
be used in your art. The images can be printed or text and it is perfect when
want a dreamy illusive interpretation of an image that can be placed on top of
a textured background. After printing the image on organic sheets, the threads
on the side must be pulled to make them fray so that the edges may be softened.
Organdy or organdie is
the sheerest and crispest cotton cloth made. Combed yarns contribute to its
appearance. The organdy is a plain weave. Because of its stiffness and fiber
content, it is very prone to wrinkling. Organza is the filament yarn
counterpart to organdy.
Its sheerness and
crispness are the result of an acid finish on greige (unbleached or grey/beige)
lawn goods. It comes in three types of finishes. Stiff is most commonly used,
but semi stiff and soft finishes are also available. The latter two finishes
are more popular for summer wear and draped apparel where as the first is more
popular for loose apparel and home textiles such as dresses and curtains.
While the uses of the
oraganza fabric is some great ways to infuse the home and wardrobe with a sense
of luxury, few of them can equal the use of Oraganza. As a sheer fabric that
provides a look and feel that is similar to silk, many forms are actually made
with silk filaments. Here is some background on its production, as well as some
of the ways that it is commonly used.
Originally a lightweight silk fabric, organza is a plain
weave that is created using nylon, polyester and silk or a blend of any of the
three. The loose weave of the filaments allows the production to result in
sections of cloth that are translucent in nature. A slightly looser variation on
the weave will result in sheer looking fabric.
Chinese organza is
still often made completely from silk filaments. Italian and French versions
are generally sturdier and often includes nylon filaments as a blend with the
silk. Fabric produced in India and the United States often uses a mixture of
nylon and polyester to create usable organza that is both cost effective and
smooth to the touch.
The
organza used as a window curtains. The another application or use is creating
painted screens that can add enhance a corner or be used as an airy way to
divide the space in a larger room. The fabric holds paints well and can result
in some beautifully appointed designs for the screen panels.
